Considering that he states it added 50 pounds to the weight of the car its not going to take it from 52/48 to 60/40..... . If you go based off of one website specs which states a 2,866 pound curb weight and a 48/52 weight split and add 50 pounds to the front of this car then you get a 49/51 weight split.

Regardless of what the weight and weight split is, if you were really concerned you could always take 50 pounds out of the front end through other means besides swapping the engine back.

This is an awesome car......

Are you thick or something! How is making it more nose heavy going to make it handle better! The m3 has a near perfect 52/48 weight distribution, which is most of the reason why it handles so well! It is now probably 60/40, if not worse!
I am going to put a sewing machine engine in my 911 I think, just to ruin it as much as this guy has his m3!

Whoever did this does not love BMW's, and it only adds 50 lbs to the car?!.. I think it probably adds a little more; so much for a beautifully balanced ride.

Planning on an LS7 swap into a regular 325i e30. What did you do for the brakes? Looks great and I'm sure it's a blast to drive.

S52? What are you retarded? Lets be more realistic. Look at the engine and cost that went into producing this and you come up with a "should a S52'd it"? How about an M3 V8 or even better, M5 V10 power plant. Youtube it. You'll see what I"m talking about.

It was actually started at $25k not 30 and built to the LS7 Specs. Its still a beautiful car and all the haters above are just jealous they cant afford it and didnt think of it first. I would also like to add that it sounds like a fun car to drive and with the added weight in the front end it would probably handle even better.

As much as I may come off as a BMW "purist" most of the time, I would drive the HELL out of that car. I have a TON of respect for the LS6 powerplant.
