After a 7 hour drive from Chicago to Detroit, through one of the worst snowstorms we have seen in years, we finally reached the final destination, exhausted but with fresh ideas, brainstormed during the “amazing” trip.
So, we decided to do something different this time and take advantage of all the social networking tools that are available to us. Two of them have always been an interest to us and use them daily, are Twitter and Facebook.
If many of you are quite familiar with Facebook, there are still many people that haven’t heard or tried Twitter. I won’t get into a detailed description of Twitter (I rather let you explore it), but I will give you a short description from WIKI:
“Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.”
Tomorrow, we will be posting some preliminary photos and information directly from our phones onto the web, Twitter and Facebook. We will do live blogging on Twitter, where we will keep you updated in real time of what is happening there and what we find out.
I learned from the previous shows that it is much easier to report in real time, rather than running back to the Media Room and posting article. Of course, we will have our high quality photos and all the reviews posted on the blog as well, so stay tuned tomorrow and Monday, we will have tons of coverage from Detroit Show.
So, follow us on Twitter and become our friend on Facebook.
P.S If you would like to see any specific photos, BMW or non-BMW related, let us know and we’ll try to get on it.
