I have the 128i, would be back in the dealership in an instant if i could obtain the 123d, but not for the premum price attached to the 335d cars. BMW has to get this right, the 123d buy is looking for an economy bmw, if its 2 or 3k more then that blow the equation, which its what happening with the VW/Audi TDI cars, and mercedes bluetec and the bmw 35d's the premium for the diesel kills the cost benefit equation. make the 123d the entry level model, ad vert the torque and mpg, and wath the cars sell like crazy.

123d comes to US i'll be one happy diesel owner. Already have the VW 1.9 TDI Jetta from 06 but a bimmer would be fantastic.

Having said that...If you think that the 123d will be cheap you are wrong. I paid about 9k more for the Jetta because it was a diesel...The 123d will be more expensive than the 128 thats for sure ;)

'I believe a 123d in the U.S. will bring BMW a new customer set, a younger crowd looking for a fun, less expensive car'

I absolutely agree. I finished college just recently and the 123d is by far the favorite car of my group of friends. I'm still driving a 95 Toyota, but if the 123d comes in 2010, there's a 100% chance I will get one, no other car will even make it to my list.
