I couldn’t resist not posting these photos the moment I saw them. I mean, you don’t get every day to see an orange BMW, especially an M5 Touring. The weird looking orange painted M5 Touring was spotted in Stockholm, Sweden and initially it seemed like it just came out of the paint shop.
There was a rumor in the beginning that the car was not actually painted, but rather “dressed up” with a foiling tape, as we have seen in the past. I keep staring at the photos and I cannot wonder what went through the owner’s head, why would someone want to paint their car orange, especially a beautiful M5 Touring?!
Well, there are many strange things in this world, but who are we to judge the “crazy bimmer fans” ?
P.S that Silver trim just doesn’t go with the orange paint.

This is further proof money doesn’t buy taste.
That said, I have a lot of friends that would throw some blue on there and drive it to the BCS game tonight!
That is horrible.
To me, the purpose of having an M5 is to go under the radar. Painting it bright-freakin-orange kinda defeats that.
@The Lee:
Exactly! the original M5 was marketed as the ultimate “Q car” for those who wanted understated looks with blistering performance.
This? Not so much.
Must have been a bet or something!
If you’re going to get wild with paint color, make the vehicle monochromatic! The silver door handles and roof rails make it worse than just a Creamsicle colored M5.
Yup, a little too crazy for me, especially since I see the M5 Touring as a family car
Yes, I know….jump and say I’m wrong hahha
Definitely done by a Netherlander!
Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Maybe this guys tries to go retro, Inca 2002 Tii Touring? Love it
I like it!
