@Gil: nope. they look to be 20". in the original photos that came out there were fairly large wheels on the car. they are not listed anywhere on the bmwusa website now... they were the wheels that were on chris bangle's personal 7

Probably not, but it’s still a kick in the pants to own a car that depreciates so fast. That’s the problem with most Benz’s. They’ll cost an arm and a leg and depreciate badly. But – if you can drop 90k on a 7 then you’re probably not concerned.

What they should do is offer an upgrade 2 years later, including facelifted body and interior parts, engine parts, new wife, etc. Or is the depreciation even an decision factor for the folks buying them?

Completely uninspiring, boring. I never understood how they could sell these for as much as they do when they’re so bland. It looks like it’s beginning to melt in the front.

@Gil: Yeah, wait for the 60% depreciation hit after the first two years like the E65's did. Big depreciation hits help explain why you see so many of those around - that and leasing.

V12 TT??? Good god. Wasn’t the point of turbocharging to be able to chop off some cylinders? I thought they were going to only have up to V8 TT’s, and the V10 for extreme cases.

Maybe it’s a hybrid?
