Still lots I want to know about this car! I am really intrigued to know the specifics of the engine and the performance numbers... I know you cannot judge a car by it's numbers, but it will fascinating to see what the M engineers can extract from these beasts! And, I think their could be a fair chance of this engine being the one that powers the next M5 and M6.

I do not think that this clip is anything near full disclosure! It is Exactly what it is meant to be: a teaser! The only thing that they disclose is that it is going to be a V8 with two turbochargers and not an enhanced version of the M5s V10 (yeah and that it will distribute more power to the real wheels "Daaaa"). They do not say anything about displacement, horsepower, suspension, steering, 0-60 time, Nurburgring lap time or even fuel economy if you wish. I think that this new marketing strategy is great! They give you bits and pieces and you can not wait to see the final result.

@Horatiu B.:

I think it's there way of turning the tables on leaked info and spy shots - there's nothing special to report if BMW's already disclosed it. But that's my take on it.

@Gragop: It's an interesting approach, the were always so secretive about new products and now we have all those full blown teasers. It's either they are afraid that the products will not be received well and they are looking to pump them up before, or....just a change in marketing strategy

With BMW showing everything about the vehicle before it's released it's sort of like seeing someone naked on the first date, and makes it somewhat anticlimatic by the third date. My point being, this full disclosure will stir interest now but who cares? If you know all there is to know about the vehicle prior to it's release, once it's finally debuted there's not much to say as BMW has already told you basically everything about the vehicle.

Alright, rant done.
