I’m really looking forward to seeing what they do with the 5er this time around. Those of us who “grew up with” the 3er in the 90’s are set to “graduate” to the 5er soon, so IMO this is an important car for BMW (or maybe just for me…!).

@Uxel: It will be unveiled in the second half of 2010 as a 2011 model. It will most likely go on sale first in Europe, but I think the US will get in 2011. Honestly, it's still early to know for sure and things can change

Few weeks ago I read (maybe on bmwblog) that the wagon will be launched 2011, a year later than the sedan, in order to reduce costs. Does anyone know if thats still true?
