I have been sitting on this photoshop image for a few days now and I have been contemplating on whether I should post it or not. The image below gives us an approximate look of what the next generation 2010 BMW 5 Series front-end might look like.
All the credit for this image goes to VroomVroom and AndyValencia, members if Germancarzone. With the help and hints from people close to BMW and who have seen the final design, the rendering is said to be about 95% accurate, with one exception: the BMW roundel or logo, will be going to be placed on the front bumper rather than the hood.
What we learned recently is that the mirrors and the handles on the F10 5-Series are the same that on the F01 and the front-end will resemble a little bit the the now canceled BMW CS Concept.
I know that VroomVroom is currently working on providing more computer generating images, so hopefully we will see something new soon.

I really prefer the actual F01, I don’t believe this will be the new 5er, it’s not… new. It seems an old design, not a newer one. Dunno, i just don’t like it…
Obviassly this rendering is based on the leake (the bumper), but i hope that the final car will not look like this rendering :S

Certainly , The new 5er won’t look like that one.
I actually prefer the oversized kidneys compared to the previous designs – but as someone else said, I doubt the real thing will look close to that – so far all the cgis have been looking better than the actual models
The 5er was going to be my next ride, but not if it looks like this.
The grille looks like it’s from the E36! This front looks boring and bland. Come up with something amazing like the new Z4 Please!!!!!!!!
The original chop made my me is 95% right, it was checked by a someone who has see the car! Andy has added the first grill I had which has too many vertical slots. the finished car will only have 12 vertical slots in the kidneys (this can be seen in spy shots)
Guys, I’ve seen a better front end than this in http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Z-eYRIyTo08/SLYdTJ4tpxI/AAAAAAAAOQE/2_0v5PrUjtc/s1600-h/9080827.002.Mini6L.jpg (especially the headlights). This one is ugly.
