As it was, I was a little bit confused when I took delivery of my X3 and saw little "M" decals all over the place, steering wheel and the wheels themselves. I said, "this isn't a *real* M is it?!" Ah... vanity. It's like when I see those MBs with "AMG" plastered on the trunk lid and the owner never bothered to replace E550 with E55/E63. Hilarious! They should stick with just “sport package” (like on my 2006 X3 3.0i), and leave the M nomenclature to the real M vehicles.
