@Gragop
I don't think it looks like a Caliber. I like this body style as an alternative to the 3er Touring, although I still do like the Touring as well. If what they are going for is a Touring-type model with a sleeker profile, I like it. If they turn this into an Audi Allroad-type car, I like it as well. This seems like a Touring replacement to me, since those cars don't sell well in the States. People still see the "station wagon" stigma, whereas "crossover" (which is what this is supposed to be, I think?) is still seen as trendy. All that said, not sure where this will finally fit in the overall lineup...

@bunker: can you tell us why? that's a serious question, why should BMW make something that looks like Dodge Caliber?

It made me think of dukes of hazard. Hmm... Daisy Duke vs Sonia.

Anyhow... I don't understand why they don't just make an attractive hatchback, offer AWD and be done with it. Why a new form factor, new seating position, etc etc? I wish the E90 was as low as the E46, but now the only way to get a hatchback is to get even higher.

Also - the name "The Lee" makes you sound like a Mortal Kombat character - which may or may not be a compliment.
