2009 BMW Z4: Prototyping

More videos of the new 2009 BMW Z4 emerged these past two weeks, we have seen the beautiful and talented Z4 exterior designer, Ms. Juliane Blasi, talking about the new Z4, along with the interior designer, Ms. Nadya Arnaout.

Today, we have a new video from our friends at BMW-web.tv, in which Timo Gobel, Head of the new Z4 roadster development talks about the Z4 prototyping process.

Another great video- I wish that the engineers comments were translated in their entirety…the little captions at the bottom are summaries.

Still, a very interesting video to see the extent that the prototypes go thru.
The foam trunk is kind of funny tho…a super simple solution- basically a hole carved out of a piece of foam.
