How does this relate to how often the BMW's were nominated? Because it has to be nominated to win, and isn't necessarily considered every year, it makes me wonder how the nominations work. BMW makes great engines to be sure, but is BMW allowed to vet the competition before it happens? It seems like when BMW was nominated, it often won.
