		<description>It seems like when BMW was nominated, it often won.   How does this relate to how often the BMW&#039;s were nominated?

Because it has to be nominated to win, and isn&#039;t necessarily considered every year, it makes me wonder how the nominations work.  BMW makes great engines to be sure,  but is BMW allowed to vet the competition before it happens?</description>
