Well, higher price for more features, that’s fair. But I’m frustrated that the features aren’t available on the 3.

More to the point, I’m dismayed that the M kit for the 3 contains no performance features whatsoever, it’s all cosmetic. Surely that’s not what the M brand is about!

Are we going to get the cloth interiors/seats like those that were available with the zhp package? That would be sweet… I’ve seen a few e90 and e92 with the cloth interiors that come with the m sport pkg and they look really great. As a matter of fact I don’t think I’d want any other interior other than that.

in sa we hav m-sport available on al bmw models for a while.i myself own a e90 3 with m-sport pack.the 3 msport comes with m aero bumpers n side spoilers,m wheels,m door sills.m seats,m steering wheel n gearknob aswel as msport suspension,checkerd alluminium trim and anthracite roof linin.quite a wel priced package at R18500.taking into consideration that cars dwn here in south africa are priced higher.we also get a 5year 100 000km no charge motorplan.we hav models rangn frm 320i 323i 325i 330i 335i 320d and 330d.5series 523i 525i 530i 550i n 530d.1 series 116i 118i 120i 125i 130i 135i n 120d.

Also, the 5’s M wheels look an awful lot like the E46 ZHP wheels. Were they too nice for the 3 series???

So all the 1/3 M package features are cosmetic, while the 5 series M package has actual performance enhancements. Why does the ZHP have better goodies than the M brand? Confusing.

The “active roll stabilization” sounds interesting. Is that hydraulic?
