We have just posted the most recent spy photos of the BMW X5 M and the people at BMW-web.tv have another surprise for us: the first BMW X5 M drive.
Named “X5 M Product Testing”, the video takes us on board the X5 M and for a nice track ride at the famous Nurburgring. I’m a little surprised how BMW decided to promote the X5 M, a bit different from the regular marketing techniques. This has to be one of the first non-spy videos of a future product released by BMW.
Even though the dialogue is in german, the english subtitles are sufficient for getting the message: BMW X5 M will be an impressive car. Or so they say….

Nothing reveald at all i hoped to here the sound but nope
Ya nothing really shown here. I think the car is being released at a bad time. People don’t even want SUV’s the last thing they want is a bigger gas eater. A regular v8 x5 gets incredible horrible gas.
“And that you should not recognize the systems, improving performance”
Maybe that’s out of context, but is that saying that a human control interface is less of an impediment if it cannot be used?
Also, that movie “share” popup is a little annoying. Sorry, but those mouse-hover popups in software drive me #*&@ nuts; a simple rollover wink is all you need.
it is weird how they let Autoblid drive the X6 M and now this , BMW sounds desperate

Guys I live in Bulgaria (which is in Eastern Europe) and there are plenty of people who would buy the X5 M and/or the X6 M
And when you add the customers from the Middle East I think that that is more than enough for BMW to at least break even on their investment
