Il sistema X-Drive sulla serie 7 presenta una distribuzione della coppia motrice ancora più sbilanciate all’asse posteriore: invece della classica distribuzione 40% all’asse anteriore/60% al posteriore, per la prima volta la ripartizione arriva rispettivamente al 30%/70%. E qui i più smaliziati dovrebbero intuire che, tale ripartizione potrebbe essere la chiave di lettura per le prossime “M” a trazione integrale. For what purpose? That's potentially very exciting. It can contribute quite a lot to handling, as it was used in previous Honda Prelude and 350Z designs. (sarcasm). actually tghe xdrive system is awesome and im not surprised to see it on the F01. some other interesting info...if no one has heard BMW will also be offering 4wheel steering on the F01 at some point. thats all the info have on that, just that it is coming. oh great, i cant wait. something else to break and fix.
