Does anyone recall that in 1959 the Tucker Torpedo offered an adaptive headlight? Sure, it was late 40’s technology, but are we giving BMW too much credit here?

Did they get all this done without xenon lamps? Those things are just obnoxiously bright.

@Jordan: That was BMW’s goal, to offer the latest technology available in their 7er. I remember talking to a friend at BMW last year, way before any good spy shots and he told me not to worry about the design and focus more on what the new 7 Series will bring. I remember him telling me how well the car drives and that it “kills” the S-Klasse. Now, I can’t wait to drive it.

I agree with you Joe. I think this just take the bar WAY up for Audi and Mercedes. I think the new 7 series will be #1 in a shootout.
