Just a few weeks ago, the old-school British Racing car manufacturer, Brabham, announced their return as a BMW tuner and released some teaser images of their own M3 version. This past week, they finally revealed at the Essen Show a beautiful blue BMW M3 Coupe.

Judging from the interior and exterior photos, I think they have done a stunning job, they certainly didn’t go overboard with the mods and added some a more aggressive look to the car, not that the M3 Coupe was missing that. In line with the other BMW tuners, Brabham used lots of carbon fiber parts to reduce weight.

I also love the blue interior trim covering the door panels and certain parts of the front seats, very tasteful in my opinion and complementing the blue paint.

I look forward to seeing more photos of this M3 Coupe, along with their own version of X6.

Thanks for the tip Jurgen!

    It *is* a nice color. I miss orient blue.

    They can’t be serious about those wheels though. If you look closely, the carbon is just a sort of hubcap. They might as well have made carbon spinners.

  3. That second shot from the top is fantastic. Great looking car!

    Brabham hits out against use of his name. According to a recent Drive article…..

    “Australian car racing legend Sir Jack Brabham spoke of his disappointment that a German company was using his name to sell cars and other products.

    @Lawrence:
    If you’re smart, you’ll find a way to tack it onto your school loans as reasonable and necessary living expense.

    I really dig the center-exit exhaust. Other than that, eh. The wheels are neat, but too chintzy for my taste. Maybe those little carbon fiber air foils are at least functional…

  11. miles says:

    how the hell do u wash those wheels

  12. clara says:

    @miles:
    If you own this car, you don’t wash wheels.
