Part of BMW’s luxury fleet are the high-security vehicles that combine the luxury, dynamic driving with the ultimate passengers’ own security. The armored vehicles are equipped with protection against criminal attacks or other dangerous situations. The X5, 5 Series and the 7 Series are BMW’s top security vehicles that come with the highest-level of protection according to European standards: VR4, VR6 and VR7.
So far we have the best and safest cars, but what would we do without a highly qualified chauffeur? Now, I’m not talking about Jason Statham from Transporter movies, but we do need an agile, trained driver that could take us out of the most difficult situations without a scratch.
So, BMW decided to offer, beside the wonderful cars, professional high-security training, a series of exercises that will teach the drivers the safe handling of the vehicles and tactical knowledge, as well as the physics of driving and the science of ballistics. The three day crash course is offered worldwide.
With that being said, I present you the 5 and 7 Series armored vehicles.

Those photos make me want to cry. But what a great idea for a driving course!
I feel sorry for those beautiful BMWs as they are now intentionally being damaged.
Hold on a minute!!! In no part of the course plans do they have collisions, fires, explosions, rail slides, or tail-sweeping pursuit maneuvers.
This is not “Ronin for Dummies” so don’t get all excited.

@Clara: their website makes mention of “collision cars” in the Exclusive Training program.
Great course. I have taken it, best adrenalin raiser experience I have ever had.
