		<description>Didn&#039;t they invest in Li-ion technology?  It&#039;s surprising that they&#039;d go with NiMH, since it&#039;s much larger and heavier.

Also, it sounds like they discount cylinder deactivation by comparing it to the combination of variable valve-timing and direct injection.  The wording  suggests that there is an advantage.  Maybe their decision is because of some other tradeoff.</description>
