Hello Bird. We ordered our 2009 BMW X3 directly from the factory in April 2009 and picked it up from the dealer in June 2009. We ordered the vehicle equipped with a car alarm as well as Sirus radio. Imagine our surprise when the vehicle arrived with neither option, even though both continue to be listed as options in the brochure. Our dealer was embarrassed with he explained that BMW decided to remove the alarm as an option, but neglected to inform the dealers. Our dealer as well as a neighboring dealer also told us that BMW has a dispute with his Sirius Satellite radio provider, which explains why the radio is still not available. Both dealers told us that they have no idea of Sirius radio will ever be available for the X3. Did you ever get the radio installed in your vehicle? Also, how did you get in touch with BMW North America? I looked through their website, but found no mail or e-mail address to lodge a complaint. Thanks!

I just purchased a 2009 BMW X3 and satellite radio (Sirius and XM) are no longer an option. Quote from BMW North America "I was sorry to read of your disappointment with the unavailability of the Sirius radio option. I doublechecked, and do not see this listed even as a late availability option for this model year."

Sirius is trying to tell me that the first year does not include "Best of XM". Can anyone confirm if this is true? I could actually receive and listen to ONLY the Best of XM stations when I picked up my car. After activating my radio, those stations disappeared....
