Also, I don’t have a whole lot respect for Hamilton. It was clear throughout the season that many drivers, including Kubica, didn’t appreciate Hamilton’s aggressive driving style.

Also – I don’t think Kimi’s fight is up for much debate this season. He was very subdued most of the time and would only come alive in short spurts, not what was needed to win races.

I want to see Massa win it because he’ll likely retire in 2 years and I think he deserves it. Besides, he spend so much time in the shadow of Schumacher that I think it’s past the time he gets credit for his talent.

I didnt care who wins, just wanted to see good F1 fight, and there it was, Hamilton had a great race and he deserves it, Vettel is an awesome driver but I dont think he could have passed Hamilton that easily without Kubica putting himself in the scene (although he is a lap behined), I expected more of a Gentelamn behaviour from BMW and Kubica, even Michael used to open the way for competitors when he had nothing in it.

Anyway I think Hamilton is a better driver and more exciting watch than Massa. Mass mostly wins from Pole, you hardly see him put the fight like Hamilton Alonso or Kimi.

Tooth and nails. It’s the last race of the season. It’s the final lap of that race. There’s absolutely no reason not to go balls-to-the-wall, dry tires or not.

I just watched a clip of the last lap. Whether or not Glock wants to admit it publicly, that looked pretty intentional to me.

I was up on my feet screaming for Vettel to pass him on that last lap to permanently hold him in 6th. My girlfriend probably thinks I’m a nut job for how excited I was but Vettel has a lot of talent and probably a lot of great things ahead of him. That said, I was mad when Timo Glock literally just pulled over to let Hamilton slide into 5th. Glock had to do it because he was still on dry tires and obviously too slow to hold a competitive line but jeez, if you watch the video he didn’t even try to hang onto his position – I liked it more when these guys fought for the win regardless the conditions.

I was pulling for Massa as well. I ended up missing the last part of the race, though. Friend of mine said that someone pulled over and allowed Hamilton to pass so he would get his required 5th place for the championship??? That’s crap, IMO. I don’t like the idea of a driver feeling as though they’re qualified to “give” the championship to someone.

I also look forward to what Vettel is capable of in the next few years with an even better ride.

As for the championship – well, I still would have rather seen Massa win than Hamilton but that’s just me. Glad to see Ferrari beat out McLaren for the constructors too.
