If you ladies and gentlemen have not been to the new BMW Welt Delivery Center, then you don’t know what you are missing. Strolling through BMW Welt, with its cyclone-shaped entrance and billowing, cloudlike facade, it is easy to forget why the carmaker built this more than $250 million palace: to hand over cars to customers.
Last time I was there was back in January and I had an amazing time, I spent almost 12 hours, just walking around and enjoying BMW’s art piece. So, yesterday, when one of our readers, Rimfire(his screen and company name), emailed me some photos that he recently took at the Welt and the newly opened BMW Museum, I became nostalgic and realized how much I would love to go back. I became even more jealous, when Rimfire told me that he received a private showing of the 2009 BMW 750Li.
Enough said, let me just give you the opportunity to enjoy these great pictures. Oh, and there are some pretty cool cars displayed in the Museum, so I’m sure you will dig those as well.

Man – I really wanna visit the Welt. More than that, I really really wanna visit the Welt to pick up a new car!
It seems very quiet there? I wonder how many visitors they have per day. It must be costing BMw a fotune to maintain the place. They might feel the pinch, especially now with the financial crisis.
@Lance: They actually do a lot of deliveries there, and all the european customers are being charged for. I think the last time, it was somewhere close to 600 euro.
I wonder if they’d sell me Jorg Muller’s WTCC car sitting in front of the Welt?
a place ill save up to go see one day
@Horatiu B.: do they have all the BMW to date at the museum
Amazing pics .. I wish to have a visit there soon
