@Kenny: It will be an additional model - likely similar to the 5 Series in design. However, where it will fit in the BMW line-up hasn't been disclosed yet.

Is this going to replace the 5 Series Wagon or is it an additional model on top of that? Cuz it looks like a 5 Series Wagon.

Hmm, it looks like a hatchback sedan, a bit like the Saab 9000. This would be interesting, since there’s very little on the market (in the states at least) like that. I believe the Mazda 6 hatchback (which they’ve just discontinued) was perhaps the only one. We have a few small hatchbacks, like the Volvo C30 and Toyota Matrix, but nothing large like this.
