Finally we get to see some decent photos of the next generation BMW Z4. With about a month away before the official unveiling at the L.A Auto Show, the new roadster has been spotted in Munich, in a new red exterior paint and very little camouflage.
As we suspected, the car’s proportions are just perfect and pretty close to Jon’s Z4 renderings that were posted a while back. As we mentioned before, we are about two weeks away from the moment the first official photos will be released to the press, so hang in there, we will see the real deal quite soon, if they won’t get leaked even before that.
So, what do you think? Does it have potential? Would it be a slam dunk?

The roof still looks a little awkward but overall this should be a pretty good looking car.
I have a very very good feeling about this car i think ti will rock if it looks how im imagining it
@L1ndja: I think it will also, I absolutely loved the renderings I have seen so far, and I think it has potential.
Absolutely gorgeous. By far the best-looking 2-seater they’ve made thusfar.
I love the new rooflines. I did dig the hatch/quasi-fastback styling of the previous Z4 coupes and I even liked the wagonesque lines of the Z3 coupe, but this takes the cake. I love it.
What about a coupe version of this Z4? I’d love to have a Z4 3.5Si coupe with the twin turbos
@Gragop: Not sure about a coupe version, so far I haven’t heard anything.
this is one hot roadster!!!!!!!!!!! side window area looks kinda like the alfa 8C. I LOVE IT
I think this looks great. I really hope it ends up looking like the artist rendering. And then once the M version comes out, wow that will look over better.
Sexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxy!!!! so far
I hope they dont increase the price by 10K just because of the damn roof.
@Artmic: Oh, no doubt the price will be increased by 10k.
@miles: Alfa Romeo 8C, already sold out in the U.S http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/06/alfa-romeo-8c-goes-on-sale-now-in-u-s-already-sold-out/
Crazy! But a beautiful car indeed
@Horatiu B.:
That makes me sad. I really do like the fastback look of the current Z4 Coupe. I nearly picked up a used 3.0Si a year ago.
this is wicked can’t wait to place my order,I own a z4 coup sports it’s still bad but would love a hard top z4 instead of the pixy cloth top.it’s wild and bold .abowa kesi
