The friends at LeftLaneNews are bringing you some new photos of the 2010 BMW 5 Series. Earlier today, we posted some shots of the next 5er from Autospies, spotted in the Alps. Unfortunately, the spy photos from LeftLaneNews are not that great again, heavy camouflage, which is totally understandable since the car is not due to be released until 2010. We should expect clearer shots of the FEP test mules starting next summer, early fall.
What can we tell from these new photos? Well, the 2010 5 Series doesn’t seem to have been growing in size, so I’ll take that as a positive thing. It is obvious that the front grille will be larger and wider than the current one, most likely following the lines of the new 2009 7 Series. The front lights will have be in a way similar to the new 7 Series. The interior of the 09 7 Series is one of the best we have seen in a while, so it is expected that BMW will continue down that line.
That’s it for now, as soon as we hear more, we’ll let you know.

I totally agree with your no growing size comment; with 07 A8 and 07 S8 in my hands for quite a while, by comparison the driving experiences, the 535xi is a much better car to keep, despite the 450hp from S8 5.2 engine, the inline 6 tt gives me much lighter and agiler feelings. These days the car makers do more size increasing than considering the refinement for their new products.
