This is an interesting video. You got a twin turbo V6(GTR), a twin turbo V12(CL 65) and a high revving M5. All amazing cars.
I think a better comparison would have been just the CL 65 vs M5 because the Nissan GTR Smoked the super sedans.

There were four cars in the video (including the camera person’s car). What was the fourth car???
the camera person was in the M5
The GT-R kills everything, dead. If it’s setting faster ring times than the Zondas and just as fast as the ZR1 then comparing it to anything like an M5 or CL65 isn’t fair.
The car that was out front at first looks like an E92 to me.
the camera showed the dash and gauges of the M5 right when the video started…
there were four cars, and the first one off the line….in front of the GTR, was definitely some type of e92 3 series. tuned m3 or 335?
yes i agree
There is an interesting article about Porsche accusing Nissan of cheating at Nurburgring. Even though, it is could be one sided I will have to believe Porsche’s accusations. Check this article :

That doesn’t imply that the GT-R is not a nice car to drive (because the design sucks!).
That makes sense since the GT-R took quite a while to catch up with the M3 in the video. After watching it several more times, I’m convinced that’s an M3. Pay attention to the wheels. Granted the guy’s reaction time was faster in the M3, but the GT-R didn’t exactly walk it down, as the published numbers would indicate.
how come the bi-turbo CL65 was not nearly as fast as the M3 out of the gate…turbo lag ;) lol
