And here we are back with more real life photos of the upcoming, all new, redesigned 2009 BMW 7 Series. The photos are courtesy of Christian Wimmer, a member of Germancarzone, and they were taken in Munich. And guess what? The 7er in these photos comes in the amazing black color that I came to love.
Didn’t I tell you yesterday that the new 7 Series looks elegant and way better in darker colors?
See for yourself and tell me what you think.

I continue thinking the 2 kidneys are just too much big, anyway I like this car, and I like the amazing amount of technology it delivers, starting from the 4 steering wheel, passing through the head up display or night vision camera and ending with the reniewed I-drive system and the active cruise control…
Another great BMW job
@Sba: I think it will be an amazing car, early reports are already putting it ahead of the Mercedes S.
I really cant get over those edna headlights; they are just not proportioned- definitely an improvement in comparison to the previous model though.
Much better in the black I agree. I am disappointed to see that BMW isn’t fully embracing the styling cue of the CS concept for the nose. By that, I mean that the grill should be ENTIRELY beneath the headlights. By placing them up so high, it gives the front of the car a very flat face. While some of you might say that this is necessary because of pedestrian safety standards, definitely false. In fact, by having an upturned nose and then the hood line above it like the z4 and CS, it would have a very sophisticated and fluid look.
Leave the parallel grill/headlights for the X-series, but give us some CS inspired noses. In the latest spy shots of the new 5-series and PAS (Y5), you can clearly see a parallel configuration just like the new 7. So up front, I’m definitely expecting the 5 and PAS to have an almost identical face. Sad. I wanted a CS nose.
