The below video should probably turn into a BMW commercial. Us, the bimmer lovers, fan, whatever you wanna call us, are indeed a little bit “crazy”, and not just about our cars, but in general.
We are the same people that are willing to shell out a few thousand of dollars extra just to have the latest and best bimmer, the very same people that are spending countless of hours detailing our car and the same people that give names to their bimmers.
Yes, that’s us, and honestly, I learned to be proud of it.
To the guy in the video: whoever you are, GOOD JOB!

Um, one could successfully argue that leases don’t really help BMW; at the end of the lease when the renter moves on to another car, BMW still has the original (depreciated) car sitting around, waiting for someone like me to hopefully come buy it. With the new Bangle styling that may not be happening too often.
Having a new car every 3 years might be nice, but having the same car year after year, seeing it hit 120,000 miles, 150,000 miles, 250,000 miles… now that’s something to be proud of. My E30 325iX had 157,000 miles on it, and my E46 330i has 119,000 miles on it. The E46 is still going very strong — a few days ago I raced a new VW Golf to a stoplight. He was shocked to hear he had been beaten, albeit barely, by a car with TEN times the mileage.

I honestly don’t get it. What the hell is that guy doing?
And it looks like his roof is stuck.
I’m a BMW owner – don’t ever group that failure in with me.
