I was honestly surprised yesterday when Benny posted on BMWToday.de some photos of a camouflaged BMW M3 ALMS being spotted on a race track. I was under the impression that the M3 American Le Mans Series unveiled at the Chicago Show in February, is the actual car that will race in
BMW must be working on the car’s aerodynamics since they went the extra mile to use their now famous pattern camouflage technique seen many times on the series models. No other details are available to us, but it is pretty common in the racing world to guard your technology advancements. Now, if I would get 10 minutes behind that wheel, I will be a happy man.

So it’s got a BMW Motorsport sticker across the windshield, already been debuted to the public, and in the shape of a 3 series…and it’s camo’d? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight…
@Gragop: It is definitely hiding something. I don’t think BMW will go the extra mile just to cover the car in a silly pattern camo.
