BMW tops newly green car list
Transport & Environment, an independent European group campaigning for cleaner modes of transport, is ranking BMW as one of the companies that cut substantially the gas emissions faster that its competitors, down 7.3 per cent last year from 2006.
Regardless if the improvements were done because of the new regulations imposed by the European commissions or even the U.S one, California laws especially which stipulates that large auto makers to sell between a few hundred and a few thousand Zero Emission Vehicle every year starting in 2012, I applaud BMW’s green efforts and I hope they continue down the same path.
