And yes, the CS imported elements from the 7 and not the other way around, it has been confirmed many times by BMW engineers and I actually found that directly from someone working there. Now, I do agree that the future models might get CS elements, so we'll see how they turn out. Why didn't they just use this CS design? I'm also not sure I agree with the assertion that tne CS derives from the new 7... if anything, I'd say that the 1, 3, and new 7 derive from the original Z4, and the CS is in turn an evolution of that Z4 design concept.
