This past weekend, we were invited to the first Lux5 event that took place in Chicago. Lux5 is a company that focuses on luxury car shows where the main attraction are the rare and exotic automobiles, along with many moded cars.
The first Chicago show was held at our famous Navy Pier location and it turned out to be a great show, despite the beautiful weather outside that might have kept the people on the beach, rather than inside. But the true car fans were all there snapping photos or flirting with the beautiful models.
Our main goal was to check out the BMW cars present at the show and we already knew that our friends at Ind-Distribution will be there. We were eager to check out the BMW M3 Coupe that we saw a few months ago all over the car related websites. And to our surprise, Anthony and Nate from Ind-Dist had more cars in display than we expected.
Along with the already famous M3 coupe, there was a BMW 135i Coupe and another E92 M3 that we have seen here before.
Continued here with more photos
Even though I was instantly attracted to the cool paint job and the mods on the M3, I could not noticed the carbon fiber parts found on the 135i Coupe, which reminded me of the BMW tii.
The 135i had carbon fiber side mirrors and trunk lip, which makes the car even more attractive. Both M3s, also stood out with their unique wheels, turning the cars into even bigger "beasts". There were also a few old school BMW M3s, E46 series, and despite their outdated look in compare to the E9x M3s, they were still a pleasure to look at, and enjoy the beauty of a classy bimmer design.
Beside the Ind-Distribution guys, a few other companies were present there, displaying their own modified BMWs. I met with the fellows at EuroProjektz whose E46 BMW M3s were just stunning and totally pimped out.
Also, here is a version of my 335i, just in a different color and a few thousand dollars extra in mods.
Along with them, the RacingFlix.com team had a few different cars in the showroom, including some amazing Porsche models.
Before I post the full gallery with all the bimmers present there, let me show you an interesting photo, which reminded me of a similar article I wrote last week, comparing the old E46 M3 to the sexy BMW 135i Coupe and 335i Coupe, only this time, the E92 Coupe was replaced by the new M3.
Enjoy the beautiful BMWs and the gorgeous show models in this gallery
And now, let's take a look at the high end luxury cars that were available at the show, from Ferrari or Bentley to Lamborghini, and from Maserati to Bugatti.
