The upcoming BMW 335d has been spotted by the fellows at Autofiends near the Mojave Desert in California. As some of you might recall, the BMW 335d is supposedly going to be released in mid October, but our friends at Bimmerfile heard from another source that the launch date might be pushed back to December. We're trying to confirm these rumors and see exactly what BMW has planned for us.
For now, we know that the 3 and 5 series diesels have been driven around U.S and that they both meet the 50-states emission regulations. Also, the diesel bimmers will definitely be released for the U.S market as well, and this includes the X5d and X6d.
The BMW 335d in these spy photos is similar to the E90 facelift version we have seen for the past few months, but with a little bit of camouflage in the rear.
In the mean time, if you would like to find out what a wonderful car the 335d is, please read this review by an UK driver. BMW 335d.

@Mark: Mark, if they get 40MPG, then it’s absolutely worth it.
@Horatiu B.:
Then I will reserve my final judgment when we see some real world MPG totals….until then, I have absolutely NO interest in a diesel car, no matter the marque….
Cheers.
