BMW has decided to make this year the Paris Auto Show one of the most important car shows of the year, of course, when it comes to BMW related models. If the 2009 BMW 7 Series and the all new Z4 were expected to be revealed at the show that starts on October 4th, the surprise comes from the all new BMW X1, a model that has been under extreme testing for the past months.
With all the talk about the 5 and 7 Series, the Z4 and the E90 facelift, the BMW X1 stayed under the radar and no sensitive information about the car have come out of the Munich headquarter. We have learned in the past that the BMW X1 will be built in Leipzig and it will be released in the second half of 2009.
The 2009 BMW Z4 is another car that is highly expected by all the bimmer fans around the world and many rumors and photos have been going around for months now. According to the fellows at Bimmerpost, the Z4 will be revealed as a concept, but it is unclear if it will be presented at the Paris Auto Show. Our friends from Bimmerpost continue with other interesting news, such as the Z4 having a design influenced by the BMW Gina Light Visionary Concept and the actual production car to be unveiled at the Geneva Car Show in 2009.
No news on the next generation BMW 5 Series, a car that is announcing to be a "star" for BMW.
