This subject has been covered many times in the past, but in a recent development, we learned that BMW is working on a revolutionary iDrive system that will change the way we interact with our car. I am not sure if many of you remember a recent article in which I talked quite a bit about the BMW Connected Drive and went a little bit off topic by talking about different ways of connecting our car to the internet world or our home computers.
Well, apparently, BMW is on top of this and a future generation iDrive Nav System is already in works. It will incorporate some futuristic elements that will turn our loved bimmers into little "space shuttles". Of course, we're exaggerating a bit, but looking back ten years ago, things have changed a lot in the way we interact with our cars.
The most interesting and fascinating thing about this latest innovation is that most of the features and settings can be web-accessed and modified from your couch, bed or workplace.
There are many features that were listed on a patent filled by BMW AG and you can find more details here.
