Even though we believe in obeying the law and not speed
, we cannot overlook the fact that some folks have built a software application called Trapster that will help the drivers avoid speed traps, police, speed camera and red light cameras.
The idea behind it is of a social network where people report the speed traps they encounter via a cell phone, PDA or other mobile device. Taking advantage of Google Maps application, the Trapster guys have built an interactive map with all the speed traps being indicated by red flags.
One word of advice: please do not drive and try to operate the mobile devices in the same time, that could be more dangerous than the speed traps.
