Maybe that 10GB for addresses includes the phone numbers and addresses for every restaurant, gas station, BMW service center, etc in the map area. That would make much more sense.

Then the total map+address partition is 12+10=22GB.

And then your personal phone numbers/addresses would be seamlessly integrated into the program with commercial addresses.

(Or maybe that’s not it at all.)

10Gb for names and addresses? Extrapolating the current size of my addressbook data, that car could store the names and addresses of 47,222,222 friends.

Seems excessive…
