It is confirmed. The next generation BMW 7 Series will have the option of a four wheel steering. We already know that the 7 Series will get the xDrive, but this is far more exciting.
Having the ability to turn the rear wheels as well, it is definitely a step forward and it will allow for quicker turns, especially on a car of the size of a 7 series.
Remember, the four wheel steering will not be a standard feature but rather an optional one, so it would be interesting to see how how much it will cost.
