We have just received official confirmation that the most awaited BMW 3 series diesel and the X5d will be available to us in the States in mid October. The BMW 335d and the X5 xDrive35d are getting BMW's dual turbocharged 3.0L inline six diesel starting this fall.
The 265-hp, 425-lb.ft. torque monster will make these vehicles among the most fuel-efficient and best performing vehicles in their class.
So, for those of you waiting to take advantage of the diesel torque, the wait is almost over and soon enough you'll have the chance to purchase one. I was also hoping that we will have some news on the 535d which we have already seen being tested in Michigan last year.
No pricing has been released yet, but we were told that we should get some more information in the next couple of months.
That's it for now, we'll be back soon with more exclusive news. But in the mean time, if you would like us to keep you updated on all the BMW news, please take a moment and sign up for our email feed. Get updates by email
