Honestly, I am not sure what to make of these photos. The general consensus seem to be that this is a Crossover model based on the current 3-series touring. Even our colleagues at E90post.com seem to believe the same thing and the discussion goes even further that the test mule in the photos, it is primarily used to test the drivetrain and the suspensions. So, therefore, the actual crossover design could be way different.
Definitely an interesting topic to follow and hopefully soon we will have more information on this.

I wonder if BMW plans to phase out their Sport Wagons entirely, replacing them w/ their new “PAS” cars, or whether the new 3-, and 5-series crossovers will just add to the model variations for each series?
