Today, BMW Financial Services has released the 2008 residual values for the upcoming BMW 128i coupe and convertible, 135i coupe, M3 sedan and coupe, and the all new X6 xDrive35i. Also, yesterday, BMW released the pricing for the X6 models, so now, everyone can start calculating lease payment. I know, we're missing the Money Factor, but you can use the one from the other models to get an idea on what to expect to pay.
| 2008MY | 24 | 30 | 36 | 42 | 48 | 54 | 60 |
| 128i Coupe | 76 | 69 | 62 | 56 | 50 | 45 | 41 |
| 128i Conver | 74 | 68 | 61 | 55 | 48 | 44 | 39 |
| 135i Coupe | 71 | 64 | 58 | 52 | 47 | 43 | 39 |
| M3 Sedan | 66 | 61 | 55 | 50 | 44 | 40 | 35 |
| M3 Coupe | 64 | 59 | 53 | 48 | 43 | 39 | 35 |
| X6 35i | 62 | 57 | 51 | 46 | 41 | 38 | 35 |
These values are vald until April 30, 2008.
What I can tell you from these numbers is the fact that the M3 lease rates will be extremely high. Now for the 1-series fans, obviously the 128i Coupe will be quite affordable but the 135i is not that far away.
If you would like to play around with numbers, you can use this lease calculator, it's pretty good and accurate.
