It seems that BMW’s first full-hybrid vehicle will be the X6 and it will go into production very soon. In the official press confernece, the BMW CEO, Norbert Riethfor has omitted to mention anything about the X6 being the first hybrid, but sources inside the BMW headquarter have confirmed the rumor.
According to the head of sales and marketing, Stefan Karuse, an X6 hybrid will go on sale in Europe sometimes in 2009. Even though, Mr. Krause didn’t mention anything about the X6 hybrid going on sale in the U.S , we are almost certain that the X6 will be available for the U.S market as well.
Here are the official BMW X6 photos from the Detroit Show.
