The moment has come: the BMW X6 has been revealed for the U.S market. The announcement was made at the BMW press conference held today at the Detroit Auto Show.
The newest technology available from BMW, the X-Drive, will be a standard feature in the all new X6. There is also a dynamic performance control system, which distributes torque between left and right wheels as needed.
Unfortunately, the twin turbo V8 producing 407 hp 450 lb-ft is not standard on the X6, but rather a costly upgrade.
No other information have been released so far, but I am still hoping that the pricing will be made available to us. As I have related yesterday, the BMW X6 will be launched in the U.S on April 19th.
Stay tuned, we’ll have more information soon.
