As some of you might know, we are based out of Chicago and starting back in 2005, City of Chicago decided that texting and talking while driving is against the law. Even though I have a bluetooth module in my car, there are many times that I find myself holding the cell phone to my ear and ignoring the bluetooth connection and in a couple of occasions, I have been ticketed by the Chicago police.
While I agree that talking while driving is bad, against the law and dangerous for yourself and others around you, I can not help to pick on the City of Chicago for not following the rules either. The law banning texting and talking while driving "includes a clause that requires the city to put up signs telling drivers not to talk on the phone and drive at the same time," but apparently the city hasn’t put up those signs yet despite ticketing people thousands of times since 2005, when the law was enacted.
An attorney who’s sued the city of Chicago over 100 times is going to sue the city again because of this "small" clause, and I can not wait to see what the outcome is. In a different article, I will talk about a story where many people have sued them because of road construction damaging their cars, and a year later, no case has been settled.

Ahhh, the lawyer is going to sue again, even after 100 lawsuits….I wonder if the world would be a better place (and our new AT&T phone book with over 250 pages of attorney ads being MUCH lighter) without so many attorneys wasting tax payers money??? LOL!!!!
Cheers,
