I am still amazed by the fact that it took nearly 5-6 years for General Motors to include bluetooth in their cars. I wasn't really expecting them to jump on the bandwagon right the way, but after seeing most of the auto manufacturers going the bluetooth route, I would have expected them to follow the trend.
Think about brand new shinny Cadillac CTS. Nice ride, right? Well, how can you pay a premium price for such a wonderful car and not having a $500 bluetooth module integrated? It's even more amazing that they spent money on other "cool" stuff like full iPod integration, the Gracenote database for your CDs, a 40GB in-dash hard drive, but they let down most of the people that have bluetooth enabled phones.
Well, it seems like GM came to their senses, and in a recent announcement by Phil Colley of GM Performance Parts , the bluetooth technolgy will be appearing in 30 vehicles across the GM range by MY '09.
