Good news!!! The first BMW X1 photos have made their way on the internet. The first news about a possible BMW X1 vehicle were announced back in September by the BMW CEO, Norbert Reithofer.
Since then, everyone has been asking why the need for a small SAV.
Why the expansion of smaller focused performance and lifestyle orientated cars?
In this segment sales are rocketing and projected sales are even expected to increase as people downsize and more younger enthusiasts come to the market. The 1er Coupe and Cabrio are the first step but there are many, many more to come. Including BMW's much talked about "City Concept for the Future" I have never seen so many eyes light up when the the sketches were unveiled.
With this being said, here are the first X1 photos, but remember, the car is just a prototype now and it's heavily masked, so I am positive the final product will look different.
