Even though firm pricing has not yet been set for the military sales program , the BMW 135i coupe is available to order based on some estimates. The Pentago Car Sales are currently accepting orders based on an "estimated" price of $25,000 for the 128i and $31,000 for the 135i. These prices include import tax and shipping insurance, but not state sales tax.
The options prices are similar to the BMW 3-series ones, for example :
- $475 for metallic paint
- $1,450 for leather
- $1,100 for Sport Package
- $350 for Ipod Adapter
- $500 for Comfort Access
- $1,200 for Logic7 Sound System
Here is what Nathan Barnes, a BMW/Mini Sales Consultant at pentagoncarsales.com, had to say:
Most likely these prices are on the high end however, with the actual cost probably closer to $24,000 & $30,000 & the option prices similiar to the 3-series.
The 135i has been far outselling the 128i at this point, although there seems to more and more interest in both models with the German launch approaching.
If indeed these predictions are true, then the US MSRP for the BMW 135i coupe would be somewhere between $34,000-$35,000, but as I said before, most likely on the lower end. This also means that the European Delivery price will start at around $32,000.

As an update to the above comment from Mr. Barnes, the firm Military Sales Pricing has been announced and the 1 Series will be launched at the end of March. We here at Cars International in Stuttgart today received our BMW 135i Coupe demonstrator and will have our launch party on the 29th of March! It is great to see and feel it.
