In a previous article, we have shared with you the news that the BMW Z4 will keep its name and that a prototype is already in testing at Nurburging. This new Z4 is built off the new 3-Series chassis so the car grows in size for the new generation. A softer, less assertive bonnet, which may be designed for greater pedestrian safety(one of the European regulation), culminates in the wider kidney grille, a little unusual for a BMW of this size.
It is also possible that many of the current surfaces might be changed and it's still uncertain what's hidden underneath the camouflage.
The present car's twin exhausts appear to be re-positioned for the new generation Z4, moving from the left of the car to one either side.
You can see many of these details in a video captured by the guys at worldcarfans.com at the Nurburgring track.
