It certainly seems like it. Their latest Mazda 6 design brings something new to their line. Less conservative that previous models and trying to differentiate itself from its competitors, Accord or Camry, the new Mazda 6 screams of excitement. Built with more nice curves and details without going overboard, the new 6 is very athletic but in the same time sophisticated.
Ford has definitely learned their lesson and realized that in order to compete with BMW or Mercedes in the mid-sized sedan market, then things like xeon headlights, heated seats, LED detailing and a start button should be standard and it will help them bring some heat to the competition.
No pricing has been announced, but we're expecting to be close to the current price in order for them to stay competitive.
The base engine will be a 4 cylinder but Mazda offers an optional 3.5L V6ill likely get an optional 3.5L V6 in addition to the base four-cylinder, but the Europeans have more choices.
