From the beginning, I have to say that I am little disappointed with how BMW decided to present the 1-series at the Frankfurt Auto Show. I was expecting to see the 135i coupe in different exterior colors, and not the old sedona red that we have been so far in all the photos released before.
I still can’t figure out why they were so conservative and that could be seen in the way the BMW 123d was presented as well: a classic black color.
While I love the black and red on BMWs, I would have still enjoyed probably more a Montego Blue or another silver color. The 1-series coupe still looks good in these photos and I am sure that for many people that haven’t paid attention to the brochures released in June, the 1-series coupe was exciting news.
